how do i change the front springs, its something i have never done so what tools would i need to change them or should i just pay the garage to change them

Going off the fact that you're asking, I'd say you're probably best getting someone to do them for you. Most jobs I'd happily say give it a try yourself but to change front springs you need to use spring compressors and if you've never seen them used before then they are dangerous, I've used them plenty of times in the past but I still have very little confidence in them.

get hold of a set of these and give me the few quid petrol and il come do them for you

Use a jack to get them back on or get a strong mate to push. I have the clamps and they waste loads of time lol.

standard springs are near impossible to get back on without using spring compressors, lowered ones can be though as i got my dad to push down on them while i fitted the nut
