Got a 56 Corsa C 1.0 12v thats just gone through an MOT, had an advisory on a noisy timing chain.

Will it need replacing or can it be tightened up or adjusted etc? I have pretty much no idea on timing chains

Cant be tightened, Its done with oil pressure.

New kit is only £100 so worth doing it anyway.

iff u do fit timing chain u need to take waterpump off to take casing would advise u to fit waterpump aswell there easy to do just a lot of torq bolts holding casing on mind and slacken sump to help get casing off
