Today took my coilovers off to fit adjustable top mounts, built up as described in the tutorial section thread... Spring, spring seat, collar thing that comes with the top mounts, top mount, other half of collar that screws on the threads of the shock piston and there was play as the top nut went to the bottom of the threads but the top mount was moving up and down by like a 1cm.
Can anyone shed some light on this situation?
Thanks

Think I read some where that, certain make of top mounts you need to get/make a spacer, as you get this problem due too the adjustable top mount assembly being less than the standard set up.
