I know this is very vague but roughly how much does it cost to have it installed in a 2 bed victorian house with gas?

just get a plumber to do it all, gas engineering is a jumped up term for a plumber, I know there are un registered plumbers about like

I hate being refered to as a gas engineer.

Get a boiler from either Baxi/Potterton/Main (same manufacturer), Vaillant or Worcester. they are the ones I fit, Potterton and Main is normaly my budget boiler I use, still a very very good boiler but as cheap as Im willing to install. Vaillant and Worcester are the higher end prices. best you can get though imo.

Depends how many radiators you want, boiler location in relation to water and gas pipes, floor types, victorian houses are known for being bastartds to work in

Id set aside 2.5k - 3k

Get on the blower then. I'm sure your capable of running some pipes off the advice of someone, then get them to fit for beer monies, winner!

that will end up in a rough as fuck job that will sound like the house is falling down when it gets hot, 22mm copper is £12 per 3m length too, if you use a propper company you will get it for less included in the price
