looking to spend up to about £600
currently I've looked at the Kontrol S4 + Vestax VCI300 with vfx1
any use a controller they recommend?
Going to get rid of my CDJs

Not had any recording gear mate as I only had my CDJs and a mixer
To be honest mate as far as function goes, I can get more for my money via USB Controller, so I'm selling my current kit

I think it was S2 I was looking at The s4 is £800 right?
Hmmm decisions. I don't want to scrimp on a couple of 00£ and regret it a month down the line, the Ergo looks a bit user friendly if you get me?

yeah its about that, but the softwares 500 of that. get yourself to somewhere you can have a demo if it? loads of dj'in shops have setups you can have a go on..then youl see if its what you really want.

watch some of the demos, it looks capable while being fun to use, i like the light effects on the jog wheels

allen & heath have a nickname of allen & grief due to unreliabilty. i however have seen a 4D in action and it looks good fun.
@ 750 id go for NI kontrol S4, youtube it up see what its capable of or go get a demo of one.

yeah I'd imagine ram Is kinda Vital, I had a new Laptop with work, which will be used for emails, spreadsheets and config tools. so I'm gonna stick my software on that as it should stay pretty clean and quick
