Ive been having problems since ive jailbroke my phone, while trying to download winterboard ect i get an error:

NOTE: cannot locate package
The package winterboard cannot be found in ur current source. i might recommend installing more sources.

Ive redone the jailbrake with no joy on fixing the problem

Its on a iphone 4 version 5.0.1

Remove winterboard in cydia then reinstall.

Sometimes cydia wont install so I just clear the error on the install and try again.

Check your sources are there.

Rejailbreaking is an ott option if youve got a error.

Just run the jaibreak straight over the top again, it won't hurt.

What source are you trying to download it from? Is it the same with other packages from differrent sources?

I had this last night with loads of packages I tried, turn out it was the same source and the repo was down, hackulo I think.

It'll be a source problem. If you've already go cydia there's no point rejailbreaking it

It will fix the source problem if it lies with one of the pre-installed sources.

You can edit the sources in cydia. But if they're down you're not gonna find anything

Theres nothing wrong with the sources.

1, Reboot the phone.
2, launch cydia, making sure your connected over wifi and allow it to fully download everything before you click anything
3, click on "Changes" at the bottom, then reload

Try winterboard again. If there error persists, try ALL the above steps again.
