Were looking at getting some CCTV for around the back and front of our house, Few nights ago two neighbours were broken into so looking to up our security on the house.
Would prefer wireless and nightvision and something i could view via internet and something thats able to record too
Any ideas? where to look ect? having a look on ebay they all seem to be cheap crap?

All depends how much you want to spend.
Probably for what you want to spend I would recommend one of maplins domestic bundles or something.
http://www.maplin.co.uk/cctv-and-security/complete-cctv-kits
They would fit the bill for what you are after and most kits have web access, both wired and wireless kits available too and IR (infa red) for night vision.
If you are looking at spending a bit more then you can look at entry level IP cameras and use a desktop PC as a recording server, however IP cameras with IR built in dont come cheap.
Network Web cams do some bundles.

I've got a swann 4 channel from maplin. Is ok, but suffers from a few glitches. Can view and control the pan and tilt of the cameras online and on the mobile.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Paid 250 for mine its got 4 ir cameras and a usb dvr, can be viewed from web and mobile Very happy with it. The main problem i found is spiders are attracted to the ir heat and keep spinning webs on the cams lol
Here is a vid to show the quality not bad imo for a system that cost 250

Because I have a Windows Home Server running all the time, I just got a wire dome camera 600Lines which connects up to the PC and then it runs software which monitors it and makes it available etc.
I also have a wireless camera which is linked in.
Works really well, to the point that yesterday the Police rang up to say the mug shot it got of one of the kids jumping into our garden was so good he was instantly recognised by his school and was given a rolocking by the School & Police... and shopped his mates in too DOH.
