Always happening to me, PC says printer is offline when its not. Only seems to work when it feels like it.

I remember setting up a wireless printer for someone the other day (a HP inkjet of some sort), I had to connect it via USB first during setup so that it could detect it wirelessly.

I know I'm asking the obvious here, but I assume that the wireless is enabled on your laptop?

No ones said it
Geek day ?
Maybe you need to try it in a different usb port.
Sometimes when you install a divice on a certain port it will only reckonise it from that 1 port.

Doesn't surprise me, every hp printer I've had has been absolute shit, never again, I've finally learnt my lesson
