ive got an xe corsa and when it gets up to temp it gets really tappety then after a while the engine note changes and starts to run rough! its fine on short journeys and doesnt do it at all its using no water or oil and there is no contamination at all :S any ideas any one?

When the oil gets hot, it gets thinner so that'll explain the tapping. When was the oil last changed?

Yh give it a service have a look at the old oil see if its all good then refill with what gm recommend
