Second month in a row something has happened with my goodybag.
Bought one as soon as it was working again after the last fiasco, got email last night to tell me it would apply today.
Just tried to reply to a text, I've got no SMS, no voice and no data.
Absolutely shocking service and now I have to wait what could be days for some chump to reply to my ticket because I can't phone to shout at them.
Will be moving elsewhere if it's not fixed pretty quickly.

Are you queuing the goodybags?
I do mine manually and have never, touch wood, had any issues. Only issue i've had with GiffGaff was the outage in 2010.
Might be worth having a look on the forums and seeing if there is a service issue with goodybags.

I queued it this time because I missed it last month, thought that was the way to do it.
CBA with the hassle anyway, no service at all because of their system is a joke.

Yup, they have an issue - http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Service-Updates-Notice-board/Problems-with-service-16-03-2012/td-p/3424153
Always worth checking the forums

I've just been queuing mine up a month in advance, been working since December
Hope I don't have problems because they're so cheap!

I checked the forum but it's useless, it's full of people saying they have a problem, little to no response from staff and then a million posts with people posting solely because they think it'll get them credit on the account.

eh? They've been updating the first post every 10/15mins with the current status of the issue.
Granted it sounds like the outage could have been prevented though.....

I thought it was just me. There seems to be some sort of issue/problem/outage each time I go on to sort out my next goodybag. Had to wait 3 days with no service to buy one last month. Absolute joke and when you do buy one there's always a delay with it activating.
I haven't left though because its cheap

Water mains burst causing the power outage at their 'suppliers' (assuming DC?), sounds like a school boy error having power near water
A2H GO - Delay activating? I've found the online panel takes a minute or two to update with the goodybag/credit but i'm usually able to text/make a call as soon as i've clicked the purchase button.

Just seen the update saying it's because of the problem that the goodybags are showing as not available.
I'm happier now, problems happen. I originally thought it was the same as last month and they hadn't fixed it.

Yes the panel usually updates pretty quickly and I can make calls/texts but whenever I go on the internet it just says not connected. Maybe I need to turn the phone off and on or something.
I could do with queueing goodybags up really.

A friend of mine was saying on Facebook that he was having problems with Giff Gaff today. I asked him if O2 had problems as well, he said no.

It wasn't with the network, it was the systems that deal with billing etc.
Bit of a shambles imo. Forum full of people saying it's cheap blablabla. They aren't in it for charity, they make enough money to have proper redundancy in place.

Someone told me that you get what you pay for.
Not sure if there's any truth in that, might be worth looking into.

Awaits Dom, giffgaff founder.
He's not allowed to respond with any information gathered from the internet either, so should be interesting.

I love on the GiffGaff forum everyone is just like "thanks for letting us know!" as if it's a minor inconvenience.
I would be massively pissed off.

You get money towards your account for contributing, although I'm not 100% sure how it works.
What it does mean is the forum is filled with absolute garbage.
