Got quotes from my bank (Bank of Scotland) and compare the market where halifax and santander were the cheapest main companies (not interested in kwik fit )
Anyone else worth trying? Looks like I could be sticking with my bank, going to go in and visit them and see if I can knock it down any

I've been with LV and Shelias wheels, both dirt cheap and offered very little in terms of cover. Can't comment on the claims process

Literally no point. They take a cut of whatever you buy - worse than comparison sites for stitching you up by making you think you've got a deal.

That's about the chepest I could get within about 20 quid.
Nothing special in it, building and contents, don't think I've got accidental damage.
I did think it was a bit expensive.

I had a quote from aviva for £400. That was including discounts for having life insurance with them and for it being my first time getting house insurance.
No legal cover or home emergency, accidental damage for contents covering flooring etc aswell

Prices are varying from £180 up to £400, just a case of seeing if theres any major differences between the policies to warrant the extra money
