I'm at my cousins wedding tomorrow and he has asked if I he were to burn an MP4 video file from his stag do to a DVD would it play in a standard run of the mill DVD player?
Any help appreciated.

As said, depends on the DVD player.
But i'd just use DVD Flick; will create the DVD menus and convert the MP4 to Mpeg2 for DVD.
