using chrome now i'll try that.
also having problems with net connection, watching videos etc they always buffer too slow. did a broadband speed checker and it came out as download 2.84mb/s and upload 0.365 mb/s. bearing that in mind should youtube videos etc keep pausing to buffer? i live semi rural so estimated top speed is only 3.5mb. wondering whether going to a new isp or not as im out of contract now, with orange atm

just done another speed test, doesnt mean much to me though
Download speedachieved during the test was - 2.32 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.6 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :3.14 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 2.5 Mbps

That's probably about right, shit thing with DSL is the further from the exchange you are the worse speed you get. Any other ISP you go with will only offer the same speed as there no "magic".
Sky are good as they have no download limits what so ever. If you already have their TV then it's only about £10 a month on top.
The only other thing is cable, but I doubt you live in a cabled area. You can always check on the BT Infinity and Virgin Media websites with your post code.

Just pause the video and let it buffer a bit first.
