Need a little inspiration for my lounge, kitchen and hallway. We currently have the bog standard ceiling pendants with massive long wires and huge energy saving bulbs sticking out from when we bought the house brand spankers over 2 years ago. Having banged my head on the hall way light at least 3 times a day for over 2 years my patience has finally cracked so want something to replace them

I think they are one of the hardest things to find. We have some horrible ones which my girlfriend picked and some like the ones you are removing, pendant ones but then with horrbile energy saving light bulbs sticking way out!

Halogen spots (with the halogens replaced with LEDs) are rapidly becoming my favourite.
Hardly use central ceiling lights any more.

I've just got one of these for my shower. The bulb that comes with it was completely useless, so stuck an LED one I had in it, much better, going to do the same with the rest of the bathroom now.
Would buy LED ones but they are about £30 quid each.
