Changed a screen on a 4 last night, white screened on me? Restored as all the youtube vids said to, still nothing, any ideas?

Display shows a white screen
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
If the iPhone will not turn off, try to reset it.
If that doesn't work, try restoring the device.

I had this problem after updating and rejailbreaking.
Tried everything possible including several jailbreaks, nothing worked.
Next day, tried rejailbreaking one last time, worked and has worked fine since :/

Tried to restore it in iTunes, although won't let me due to it needing a passcode (which I know).

I had this on my old 3G. It was the screen (apparently new) from a backstreet phone repair shop. When I went back in to complain and ask for a replacement he pulled out a bag will around 100 screens and tried about 5 of them until he found one that worked  Phone worked faultlessly after that though! If you need it for a 3g I have a genuine phone (black listed and no working mic or speakers) with a good screen on

Fucked screen. I got one on a 3GS I fixed today.
