my engine was a veccy sri x25xe but changed to g cams and C25xe set up. kept the blue injectors, changed various sensors including water temp sensor, but for some reason its still over fuelling a bit, anything we havent thought of to check?

he said to do the coolant temp senor to me the other day, iv done that, but havent seen him today. just wondered if anyone else had any suggestions to try?
i shouldent need to downgrade on ijectors surly?

would the fact iv had the fuel pump on a constant live to fire it up cause it to run rich?

...or could it be lambda issue?

Is the AFM adjustable? I'm guessing not?

Have you changed the Lambda?

have you changed the fuel pressure to match the larger injectors? for example 350cc injectors at 3bar will put less fuel in than 450cc injectors at 3bar

its not on the adjustable reg yet, you can get 3.0 bar and 3.8, its been on the 3.0 bar both with blue (high flow) and black (lower flow) injectors

other things checked are:

AFM
coolant temp sensor
crank/knock sensor
cam sensor
timing
compression test
earths
both black and blue injectors
inlet area's for air leaks...

one wierd thing i must add though when i unplug the ICV (when running) it makes no difference however if you crimp the rubber pipe going into it it does so obv not the valve thing stuck open

...same with a few other sensors, ticks over just the same without them being plugged in

its a fucking mystery thats got us all stumped

... the air temp sensor had a snapped wire though, fixed that and its ticks over alot smoother but still over fuels/spits flames/black smoke

any other idea's peeps?

only thing i can think of to check is another corsa loom

i went a bit trigger happy when removing the indicators, wipers, centre console....
i cut out the wires

iv since them traced all them earths out and put them onto one big earth but its still not rite

still cant understand why it still runs ok when the ICV is unplugged, must be because its the same as an XE one

aye, only thing i can think of trying is another car loom. the engine loom i had was a bit tatty and for some reason wouldn't fire all 6 even after trying plugs, leads and c.pack. the loom i have on is borrowed from a V6 nova.

is there not an earth on the steering column somewhere??
