as above i may be ordering my wheels tonight for my 'd' which are 8inch in width but need advice on tyres, i'll be lowering it so the tyre just sit near/under the arch so about 60/70/80mm. Was thinking 205/40/17's? ws thinking 195/40 abit OTT?

d90s are 8j rears and 195/45s seem to give a nice bit of stretch but not well ott IMO! Dont think 205's will have much stretch bud

Have a mosey on over to tyrestretch.com and have a ganders. They'll have a gallery of different tyre brands in different sizes. Different brands seem to give different stretch for example -

205/40/17 Falkens, quite a nice stretch.
