Has anyone used the 200mm clutch type flywheel (flat) on there x18xe1 instead of standard 209 clutch (pot type flywheel) and have any problems.
Is there any or much benifit from this alteration?

my x18xe1 has got a standard flywheel from a 1200 if thats any good, gearbox also, flies like a rocket off the mark but cant see the clutch lasting long and it loves to drink fuel

As it is only 9mm difference you would think it would be ok,but i suppose the diaphram sprrings are not as strong,Does it make a lot of difference then?do you loose much torque?mine x18ex1 is in the zafira so yhe torque is quite important not that they have much anyway!
What do you khow about the inlet manifold modifications that some people have done?
