My ps3 and laptop are on there back legs so going to get a gaming laptop. Whats the min grapics and ram etc i need for todays games? Battlefield etc?? Ive seen a decent 1 from medion that was tested with bt3 and reviews are in its favour for such a cheap machine??

Laptops are shit for gaming.. For what you would pay for a 'gaming laptop' you might as well just buy a pc.

A gtx460m is not going to run the latest games either, well it will run them but they will run slow, choppy etc.

Agree with this. I don't get the point in shelling out over £1k for a gaming laptop which you'll most likely need to upgrade in a year or 2, when you can shell out £200 for a PS3 which you know will continue to easily play every game they release for it.

You could get a PS3 and a normal laptop for less than a gaming laptop.

For the price of a decent gaming laptop, you could get a new console and a less spec'd laptop and save a fair few hundred I'd guess.
