Hey guys,
I was just wondering so that i know when i have enough money spare to change my engine for a 2.0L one, how much did it cost you guys from start to finish to replace engine and all components?

Id budget for around 1k for a c20xe if you are doing it yourself.

depends on what other work you do before fitting the new engine, cost me around £1500, buying a donnor car, mounts, shafts, gear shift shortener, lightend flywheel, lexmaul manifold, sports cat, drive shafts, rad and a few other bits. all new parts and changed cambelt kit.

I bought a corsa xe for 450, shell was fucked engine was mint, bought new cambelt kit, water pump, clutch and gave it a service and put it in my corsa probs stood me at 350 after selling bits and scraping the shell

Id say allow 1-1.5k. If u do it under budget then bonus, this is my plan anyway.

Can do it on the cheap for about £400.
I would say if you want it to last and not be an old piece of shit 1k plus
