Does anyone know if a x16xe clutch kit would fit on a x14xe ? 
Ive been given a x16xe kit as my m8 crashed his corsa sport b4 he was going to change it.

Looks like it should,they are both 200mm dia plate with 14 splines and both small block!
If you need to do the clutch why not fit a x12xe flywheel and clucth as they have a flat flywheel like the older 8v engines and free up some bhp.

I didnt know u could do that. Im guessing id need a x12xe clutch kit aswell.
Im only thinking abt it as i might be off to the ring at the end of may

Yes bud you will need the clutch to match the flywheel,yes it`s just a flat one rather than pot type.
For some reason the x12xe seem to you the same as the old 8v engines!

I just had a search on part numbers, and yeah the Z12XE flywheel is the same as all the old 8v engines and even some newer 16v ones! Z14XEP on a 2004- tigra for example
