Im buying another iPhone 4 which is locked to EE this week to replace my iPhone 5 which isnt worth the money IMO and because BMW dont make a snap in craddle for the 5 yet and no sign of it soon! But need to get it unlocked so I can use it on o2
There are 101 site which cliam to be able to do this and all vary in price but I really dont know if any of them would actually work!!
Anyone got any experience with doing this and how much should I be looking to pay to get it done?
Thanks

Phone EE ask to get it unlocked, expect to pay no more than £15. If they ask reasoning, say you'll be using the phone abroad a lot and you have a foreign sim.

You need to contact original owner of the iphone 4 on EE and ask them to authorise an unlock.
Then connect to itunes with a non EE sim and it will unlock.
There are other ways as well but best to go through original owner. O2 is free, EE is around £15 or £25.....not 100%

Because I don't know the original owner; I've bought it third hand and they will only do it for the owner from what I can tell
