pre-order @ £18.50
It will be fake/duff memory im afraid.
The memory should have been destroyed as its defective, instead crooks get hold of it and bundle it with usb pens and sell them on.
It'll appear as a 128GB memory stick in windows but will only allow you to write up until it hits the bad memory block.
There's programs out there that will test if its genuine or not by writing to entire USB stick until it finds a faulty block, if it doesn't fail, its genuine.
When it comes to USB sticks, if it looks like a good deal, its probably fake. I'd keep away from ebay, given the low prices that all the other reliable outlets are selling usb sticks for.
*edit* reading some more, it appears that some people are actually able to reprogram USB sticks to alter the appearance of the total memory, but same thing applies, when it hits the end, it'll either fail or start wiping files.

With ebay and memory, i'd stick to brands you've heard of at least and check the feedback.

Even with brands it can still be fake using dodge memory. Better off sticking with a known outlet and hunting out deals - loads on HUKDs for 64GB flash drives.

I wouldn't buy a flash drive off ebay full stop. Far too many fakes. Even from people with decent feedback who get them from dodgy suppliers. I had an 8GB years ago that turned out to 1GB. I had a program to restore it back to a fully working 1GB stick but obviously wasn't happy. Avoid

Last year I bought a Kingston 32GB SD card off eBay. It came in what looked like genuine packaging but as soon as I put it in my netbook it pretty much exploded and thus killing the memory card and the netbooks spring loaded SD reader
