Its already treated, well they said it was anyway? Just looks like normal ply :/ going to give the decking some oil once the weather clears up, will do the sand pit and the lid too, cant do any harm?
Looking forward to filling it with sand then showing it to him next weekend, its hiding in the shed til then!

If its Marine Ply then you won't need to treat it

Cheers guys
A mate has 5 big bags of play sand i can have, so worked out a pretty cheap project, the ply was most expensive at £20 a sheet, but that did the base and lid
Going to line it tonight then put it back in the shed til i fill it next sun eve, ready for the big day on monday. Fingers crossed the weather is ok! Could just set the gazebo up over it i guess!

Finished lining it, not brilliant, but im in a rush as off to ireland at 6am tomorrow and wont be back til 6pm sunday so wanted it ready for him.
Added another deck board on the top as a little seat if he needs it, then put a capping over the other three sides to hide the lining. Lid still fits though. Shit pics as finished at 10pm!
