Anyone know if these (clicky) are any good?
These are the cams I have: http://www.pipercams.co.uk/pipercams/www/product.php?pid=C16VBP285H
I thought it might be worth having some adjustable pulleys to get the best out of them?

What ecu are you using? As iirc only dbilas made verniers to suit standard ecu as they had the cam sensor pickup on. I've got kent verniers knocking about and they don't have the pickup + I'm almost certain piper says they need standalone ecu too use them too. If only standalone then all means go for some verniers.

It's the standard ECU, but these have the pick-up on the exhaust cam. Worst case scenario I'd just fit the inlet one though, that's the most important one to adjust anyway.

Ah I didn't click link. For that money go for it. I paid 200 for my kent pullies so there a bargain.

Can you run that much lift on a standard x16?

Standard springs will be very close to coilbind at that lift. What's spec of the rest of engine?

Well, I was told they came out of an X18XE1 on a fairly standard engine which ran well.
I always have had doubts though as they are pretty high lift!
Engine spec.. fully rebuilt with all new bearings and rings etc.
OPD inlet, head will be ported lightly, 4-1 manifold and 2.5" system. Standard management.
I'm not looking for silly power, just some good gains.
