So, I want to play gtao when it comes online, only thing I'm concerned about is I have a 15gb a month data allowance. I normally download 10gb or so of movies per month and the rest is used on normal browsing. How much data does xbl actually use ? I've found online estimations between 10mb to 250mb per hour. Any ideas ? Annoyingly I have about 8 months left and they won't upgrade me til the contract ends

Id be interested to know this as well, it will also depend on whether you use a headset etc too

Because its a SIM card in my mifi I got about 5 years ago that has always been suitable for my needs.

Whenever I have kept a tab on how much data my use of xbox live is using, it comes in at around 100MB per hour.

Going by that estimation - 20 hours/week = 2000MB/2GB.

80 hours a month = 8000MB/8GB.

That is probably an over estimation. But I'd say around 8GB/month for the amount of time you put into it.
