The 17 Air's we have at work are given to kids with learning difficulties and we have them in Griffin Survivor cases

That's bonkers, surely a 2 year old isn't going to enjoy an iPad, never mind look after one.

My daughter could use both of our phones and the kindle by the time she was that age. Sad but true. Kids are amazingly knowledgeable about them these days

This is why kids are ending up obese.

No they're obese because of retarded parents. Who dont bother with their kids at all. A kid having access to technology is not the reason at all.

School not too far from where i live (where i used to be the IT manager of at one point funnily enough) has just dished an iPad out to every student.
The said school is a new building on one of the most deprived council estates in the country. You should have seen the queue of PARENTS waiting to pick up said iPad.

If i was to have my time again, i would be going into teaching. Teachers have no common sense, more holidays than the sun and are actually paid quite well.

My daughter is two and I bought an iPad back in the summer and bought this case for it.

Has been dropped a few times and still perfect. They are good for kids I think as long as you limit the amount they use them and what they use them for.

My boys 2 and been using one for months. He is bloody clever and a lot of its down to the iPad use. The learning apps are amazing. He sings songs I've never heard before. So I couldn't have taught him them. Obviously u still have to limit the use and entertain them by other means like old times too.

I know that's just a figure of speech Dan, but 'like old times' actually means the social skills that will need everyday in their life, which being on an iPad isn't going to teach (like to say).

Yea you have to teach life skills. I'm all for an hour on the iPad a day though. The test of the day he plays with friends and toys etc.
The iPad is just a good tool if used properly.
I have a friend who's girl never uses and form of tablet etc. Has no communication skills. Won't talk to people etc.
I think to say the iPad is the reason kids are like they are now. Is a bit wrong. It's the parents lack of care that's the issue.
