Replaced charger port, replaced main board, replaced EMC chip? or some sort of chip, replace battery, replaced more or less everything possible. It is now back in its original condition with its original parts so could be sent of if required.
Next step is for apple to replace it for nearly £220....
What would you do?
Cave in and pay apple?
Sell broken iPhone on eBay, use another phone until the iPhone 6 comes out and buy that?
Sell it broken and buy another one that works?

Is this what you have replaced?! If its just an iphone 5, £220 for a new one isnt really that good as thats the going rate to sell them anyway

Sell it and get a phone which supports wireless charging (I have a Lumia 930 and love it) - no more broken charging port woes or collateral damage as a result thereof.

Pay for the replacement and sell that when the iPhone 6 comes out.
