Need to move due to new job, went to see a house for rent last Thursday, house next to it was for sale so went to look at that too. Saw it again yesterday, put an offer down today, was accepted 10 mins later, moving in 1st of October.
We're city people and have always lived in flats and initially were looking to buy anoyther, so I realise this is definitely not to everyone's taste as there's no garage or even drive and very little garden. Perfect for us, though, and only 10 mins from the city centre.
Pictures are from the ad, so not our furniture.
Plan's in Danish, but it should be pretty self explanatory.

Very nice, like the interior and exterior, a big garden is a pain, hate cutting grass.

About £185k at the current rate. No idea how that compares to the UK.

What's Danish for Bathroom or what does 'Bad' mean on the floorplan pics?

Thought a cloak is what you hang items on like coats/jackets, bathrobes etc

Cloak (room) is normally the downstairs WC (water closet, toilet, lavvy, shitter).

Cheers guys.
Luke, can't repaint the outside. There's a bunch of identical houses on the road in three different colours that can't be changed.
The orange does look pretty shit, but wasn't something I was gonna put up a fight over.

Massively depends on area but around here, that'd get you a small 2-3 bedroomed new build in a scummy village
It does look bloody good though

Was wondering if somebody would comment on that.
Generally, Danes aren't nearly as big on floral wallpaper and colourful walls as you Britts. This house and decoration is a prime example of nordic style.
Up until a few months ago our couch was the only non-white furniture we owned.
We've discussed going crazy and painting the end wall in the bedroom duckegg!
