I've got brown couches, and as a last minute thing to get the house finished when we moved in the walls are painted cream and brown, I cant stand it its really bland, couches aren't an option at the minute cause we've only had them about a year. I like the couches but we bought them for our old place and then moved and I've hated the living room since, just fancy seeing what everyone else has done with there's. Now the rest of the house is done to how we want it, I really want to just get it sorted!

We are decorating our lounge in our new (to us) house at the minute. Should be completed second week November so will share pictures then.
We opted for new sofas, wood burning stove, furniture, lighting etc.

That's lovely, for my taste I'd need a bit more in there though.
Whitter's is very nice as well - too pristine

If I put more stuff in there then I wouldn't be able to ride my bikes around inside!

Nah mate, it's called growing up and getting on in life.
Btw, I still have it, it's still Carbon Eleven, it's still real and I still wouldn't sell it to you for £5.00

Thanks
We did think about something but that tv wall is the biggest in the room and didn't want anything too in your face - being out first house and all that we've stayed very neutral and haven't really gone mental with colour other than the headboard wall in the bedroom which is grey.

It's a little sparse at the minute. Love the sofa, it's bigger than our bed! Also went with a bright feature wall to accentuate the amount of light the room receives.

While I think the green wall looks nice, if this is your reasoning, a white wall would actually do a better job.
