..albeit only letting but still, not at home any more. Seriously cannot wait however we've had our fair share of cockups with the Estate Agents.

Firstly, me and the missus were originally meant to move into a place on the 12th December (we knew it was up for sale as well as Let) perfect just before Christmas as we had signed and paid the monies (Ł1402). We had arranged to meet the Inventory clerk on the Saturday to hand keys over and move everything in as we've bought new furniture etc, on the Thursday before we had an email from the Estate Agents (Bagshaws - will NEVER deal with these c*nts again) saying that the landlord has asked if we can post-pone the moving in date for 1 week, we agreed as we couldn't do anything else at the time, but by the following Tuesday myself and the girlfriend received an email to say that we can't move in as the landlord has sold it, pissed off was an understatement, as Bagshaws said it wouldn't be a problem if the house did sell, as we've signed a 12 month let. But that's a load of bullshit, as at this stage we are out of pocket and had to look for another place.

I had last Friday off and decided to book a last minute viewing at another place as the missus had already got us a viewing for the Saturday just gone. So we umm'd and arr'd about both places and decided on which one to go for, the one for the last minute viewing has got space for 2 cars and the garage is where we'd put the washing machine etc so no space for a car-pointless for us.

Luckily enough for us we have and it's not too far from the original first house and for extra Ł100 I'm not complaining as we get a dedicated parking space as the previous place has no parking for our two cars. We've paid the monies and signed all the relevant papers just waiting on our referees (didn't take too long last time) then we'll be in (this is a 100% definite from the new (to us) Estate Agents - Scargill Mann), in the new year which doesn't bother us too much as we're going to London for NYE so it'll be something to look forward to.

this is the place in question is a converted pub and we're in a mid-terrace which suits us. Only one or two things that need doing before we actually move in due to previous tenants but won't cost us a penny.

Couple of photos from their website:

Got the keys last Wednesday and we're all moved in and settling down, took few hours to get the stuff etc and put it where we want, but it's looking more like a home now.

Went shopping (that's all we seem to be doing at the moment) at the weekend aand spotted these in Asda..Ł30 for 5m LED. Don't seem too bad, might get some more for the kitchen as they can be cut to shorten them howeer they need a mains plug, can you get any that are solar? Probably pay a bit more but would save on having 2 remotes.

How do i embed them onto a reply?

Yes we have now, last night as neither of us could be bothered to cook. Loks like a down and out place from the outside but they do lovely currrys.

On wednesday me and the missus had a day off so went for a browse. Ended up getting a brand new sofa and chair from SCS. Ł1400 in total we've opted for the firmer seats, cleaning kit and care. It's one we've liked for a while just not seen one in the flesh, down fall is we don't get it until the start of April.

3 seater

2 seater

each to their own but that sofa is awful - especially at Ł1400

But as long as you like it - place is looking good

The cuddler chairs are cool. We have one in aubergine leather. I love it.

Also like the quirky phone. This is ours:

@VrsTurbo: Adding that 3 seater sofa, with the Large Twisty Chair, Large Half moon footstool, paid extra to have firmer seats, took cover on it (so if we spill anything they come out and either clean it or replace it) and also the cleaning kit + delivery. Think it all adds up.
