What does everyone use and why ?
Looking at current offerings, after something that has AD integration, Internet Monitoring, Software deployment and uninstall, User chat, Remote Control, Device Auditing, Patch Management, WOL blah blah blah etc.
Got Panda on trial
Got Manage Engine Desktop Central on trial
What else should I be looking at ? Trying to make taking additional responsibilities as easy and remote as possible

SCCM, fair amount of cost/effort up front but it pays dividends for years.
EDIT: As an SCCM-lite option, you could consider Microsoft Intune (office 365 offering). Does most stuff, just can't help with desktop imaging but you'll need to setup an Azure AD sync and potentially ADFS for it to be properly integrated.

Plenty of applications out there, all dependent on your budget and requirements.

Use sccm.
Wonderful when the config manager client installs getting it on everything can be a pita.
Still got 4 clients where it won't roll out to for who the fuck knows why. Will have to do it manually at some point
