Do most of the alpine head units slot straight into the corsa c, without having to re-wire it?

Yes, more or less all headunits are a straight swap.. the only thing you need to do is install the cage the HU sits in and plug it in... you may need to buy a converter for the ISO block(HU Plug) depending on the car, but most just plug straight in.
