I have a 1995 1.416v sri can anyone tel me why its emissions are so high??

check your lamba sensor has not been cut when i bougth my car sum1 had cut the sensor!!!!! it is a 1.4sri and on the motor way if floored it hit the rev limiter in 5th well quick speedo saying 125mph now it has has a new sensor fitted its a lot slower but mpg is great.

have u got cams? cos this can chuck out emissions.

also if ur car has only been used for short journeys it can get coked up quite a lot and as a result emissions will be high. Try giving it a lot of stick then takin it for a retest?
