not really m8, best bet is to make it as light as poss and then do a engine conversion on it

no its pointless trying to squeeze out a few extra bhp as most things on the road will still hammer you

just make it look nice then save your shackles till you can afford to insure something with a bit more oomph!!!

Just make it looking nice, if you wanna keep a bit of power then stick with some 15's.

I have a 1.2 8V, which is only marginally quicker than a 1.0 12V, but I have 15's with 60mm drop, stainless system and drilled air box. Still gives other cars a run for their money such as 1.1 Saxo's etc, but on the country lanes I can give most cars a beating.

thats about all you can do there is no point to getting extra bhp out of these engines unless you have substantial amounts of money and a lack of sense coz they are not going to be fast

the 1.0 has a 0-60 of 16.5sec and
the 1.2 is 18.1secs

1.0 is quicker than the 1.2! if you keep the revs over 3500 in the 1.0 it goes alrite, i used to have one!

1.2 8v's in my opinion feel quicker low down the rev range, but in reality they aren't that gutsy

1.1 Saxo's are 75bhp so i think your telling wee fibs there

and also you can give most cars on std suspension a beating, thats pretty obvious seeing as any car that is lowered 60mm is gonna be better than most std suspension cars

1.1 saxos are 60 bhp, even the C3 1.1 is still 60 bhp. Its the 1.4 which is / was 75 bhp.

I have a 12v (valves not volts) as a courtesy car today, certainly doesn't feel as bad as my mates mums P reg 1.2. Feels on par with the Cinquecento Sporting I drove last night. Not fast..but OK.

theres no corsa made with a 1.2 12v mate. they did 8v and 16v
now a 1.2 16 v will kill a 1.1 festa. kinda.

they never put a 8v 1.0 in a corsa in the uk and yea. 3cylinder 12v.

and no. scooters are after all. drivien by tossers.
