I am after a stainless De-cat pipe and wondered which is the best de-cat pipe and how much extra power does it give.

I've got full magnex s/s with decat on my 1.6 sport.
With induction kit

Rollin roaded at 113 bhp
Then after full service plugs/oil/flush etc rollin roaded at 118bhp at same place.

I've got a Janspeed s/s one on my s/s Piper system.

£90 from PVD or £70 for the mild steel one. Revs drop a lot nicer with the de-cat, plus it's silenced so it's not as "Peco" as a straight through pipe.

why we are sorta on this topic , joff whats the difference between the racing centre pipe and normal one by remus? is one just a straight through pipe with no silencer?
