Just a curiosity question, went to wind out the engine on my astra for the first time to see where the limiter kicked in but I backed off when the needle hit 7000rpm for fear of doing damage. I assume these engines are limited so where does the limiter kick in? If I had held on much longer I would have buried the needle in the red zone, so I just want to see what the official cut off rpm value is?
