what do they sound like on a 1.4 16v\1.6 16v?
full sys (cat back) ?
im thinking of getting one with the smaller oval tail pipe.
im looking for something that is noticable, but not too noisy, and something that will show off the characteristic of the 1400/1600 16v engine note

I got the magnex 3 x 5 oval it sounds real nice on my GSI not too loud

I see one of those 5x3's the other day on a corsa.
Opinion, i like it better than my 6x4. Looks good, not too big.
As for noise on the 6x4, dont' expect mind boggling roooaaarrr, as it doesn't do that at all. You can hear its on the car, but its noisest under de-acceleration when it gives a nice deep drone around 4 down to 2k rpm.
Plus magnex build quality is great. I'd deffo consider a 5x3 too.

The 3 x 5 is def the one it go for.
Not to loud and not in ya face!!
Mine make a nice burblin sound and the occ poppin.

yea, i got the normal 3" R tail (catback).
Does enough for me, nice deep tone / burble. Not too loud as well.

it ain't gonna bang on my rear axel is it 
cause i've got a powershite backbox and it bangs around a lot, plus the box is falling to pieces inside. i don't trust them to make me a decent back box so im not gonna take it back....

Mine knocked on the axel cos the mupped put the clamp on the wrong way round.
Sounds nice, only got a standard centre section 2!

If it knocks or is two low then just change the rubbers!! If its to low then Vectra rubbers can lift it up a bit!
