....than 1.0 12v ones cos i thought if they are, then i could simply get some -40mm lowering springs from say Pi and mate them up to soem GSI dampers to make them match a little better ???? Dunno if i'm correct cos i heard that the GSI's were dropped 25mm, maybe thats just the springs ???
I know i'm rambling but it's been confusing me for quite some time !!

what ive heard that early gsi b , pre ecotec is lowered only 10mm. dont know about later models..

As far as i know all GSi's and SRi's share suspension components and its -15 from standard. The later sports didnt have this lower stuff.
When my 1995 1.4 16v Sri had standard suspension on and my mates 1997 1.4 16v Sport had standard stuff mine was noticably lower and harder than his.

As said tho get a kit specifically for 1.0 12v due to much less wighty engine!
