Is a 70amp altenator enough for a 2400w install with a cap and optima yellow top? (awaits response from austin, snowy or corb!)

its just ive seen a 70amp altenator for sale, brand new £20 at the moment, u reckon thats what i should get?

its a vauxhall one, i will email the guy and ask though, Dont suppose you know off the top of your head thesize of the one that comes with the 93 SRi (8v)?

yeah i did, just thought you might have known. Ill ring em next week and see if they can rewind it or something. Im sure there will be many more posts when all the bits get here cos as i said, this is my first proper install!
