whats the difference between a lexmaul ram induction or an exhust manifold?

an exhaust manifold makes the link between the engine and the exhaust, whilst the lexmaul ram induction is for the air inlet system. Its a replacement item for the standard inlet manifold and plenum, which is very restrictive to reduce power. an extra 15-20bhp can be had from lexmaul/Mantzel or Velos items. Ok?
