How hard is it to ARP rod bolts in to a 1.6 or would it be better letting velo's do it for me?

Take off manifold, drain oil, remove sump cover and away you go. Having said that, rod bolts do a very important job in holding the engine together, so if you're not sure about torque settings etc. I'd leave it to the pros

Each bolt has to be torqued 4/5 times to a precise torque to stretch the bolt.
The torque settings are included with the bolts, ud just need a diecent / accurate torque wrench (not cheap).
I had velos fit mine, its up to you though.
By the way, ul be gutted when you see how small the bolts are for £70, but since they stop ur engine going bang they're more than worth it.
