The service intervals on my car is every year or 20k. But i've heard on here that you should change ur oil every 6k.

My new corsa has done 6.5 now, should i be thinking about changing the oil soon? what about oil filter?

I'll do it all myself so it'll cost next to nothing

well when i changed mine due to tappets bein noisy i was told to do it every 3 months if u really want to take care of ure engine. i flushed mine at the time too and it was full of some rite shit. sounds alot sweeter now though

you are ment to do it once every 6 months i do about once every 4 months it only takes 20minutes

I had my oil changed at 12,000mls its now done 17,200mls should I change it again.

yea and id recommend a flush too i didnt do mine for 10k and it was like sludge

just had miune serviced and i think they flushed mine and stuck some new stuff in, 8k miles

go to a car shop and ask for some engine flush put the full can in where the oil goes then run it a 2k revs for 20 min then drop the oil out by undoin the sump plug CAREFUL IT WILL BE HOT then once all drained fill back up. should be about 2 to 3 litres of oil i think
