ok i just bought myself a lovely sub and amp...i got some 6x9's and some 17cm's...now is it worth putting the 6x9's in the parcel shelf? or will the sub just drain them out?

would putting the 6x9's in the rear panels be better?

sell the 6x9's altogether and either put the money towards and amp for the comps or get some 5" coxials and put those in the parcel shelf. Sorted. Then just reduce the bass abit to the rears to stop it fooking about with the sound from your sub

quater panels? do you mean the rear cards? Is this in the B or C corsa? if its in a B, is there enough room to wack speakers in rear cards? or did you have to build some sort of pod to get them to fit properly? and have you got any pictures? just thinking about doing the same, getting the same comps as i have up front and wacking them in the back and then getting a 4chan amp for the whole lot

tar mate,

cheers boss This was in a 3door wasnt it?
I keep looking at them and trying to work out if there is enough space, and ive worked it out that is about 2" in depth where the foam is (thats makes the arm rest bit/indent).

But yea, cheers mate

rear quarters meaning the panels by the seats in the back? or the ones either side of the parcel shelf?

yes mate...but dump the 6x9s in the back, get some coxials and a sub, amp them both. Cut the bass (around the sub frequency range) and its will sound mint

edit: can someone get some pics of speakers in the rear cards of a 3dr corsa please And what roughly is the depth of them? And would the max depth of the speakers would you say should be?
Just trying to work out if i can fit some infinity 5000cs's in them (5" comps) cheers all
