My fanbelt just went on my wey home , only just had enough juice left in it to get home!! so i guess im off to halfords in the morning to get one, is there any random thing that i could find in my house and safely use to get me there?? Otherwise im gunna need a lift from mummy! Also, does my corsa (1.2 8v) take a std size fanbelt, if not how big??? Mny Tnx Guys & Gals !! Mike

just ask in halford for a drivebelt,v/belt for a 1.2 8v corsa and it shouldnt cost more than £8
just try and start it tomorow see what happens

Just make sure the water pump isnt belt driven or the head gasket could go.

you need to get a fan driven by the engine first
you have a timing belt and drive belts. I suspect your drive belt which turns the alternator has gone
