which cars can u use the rear discs from to fit to a corsa?

can u use any vauxhall rears?
sumone said not calibras

and how much should i expect to pay for them?

think veccy dont fit as it has the handbrake cable in wrong part

To fit rear disk brakes: (Gonna be posted in FAQ soon... (with pics))

1. Go find a rear beam from a 4 stud mk2/3 Astra, Cavalier or Calibra.
2. Unbolt the whole hub section from each side of the beam, this will be bolted on with some star shaped bolts (sizes will be added soon) and will have the disk, caliper and actual hub all attatched - remove the brake hose too!
3. Using an angle grinder, grind along the welds on the spaces plates (These are the plates of metal that have holes trough them, behind the hub unit) that secure it to the rear beam. Make sure you do not grind material off of the actual spacer plate.
4. Remove the rear beam from the Corsa, so you do not damage the car or blow it up, because you got to do a bit of weldong and grinding to the beam...
5. Using the same processes above, remove the hub unit with the rear drums from the beam, using the same star shaped bolts and grind off the Corsa spacer plate, be careful not to grind material off the Corsa rear beam this time.
6. Align the new spacer plates (from the donor beam) to the Corsa rear beam. Using a g-clamp and a steel rule ensure that both the spacer plates on the left and right sides are correctly possitioned onto the beam, there isn't much space to screw up, so don't worry! Just the spacer plates eventually say where the rear wheels will be in relation to the front wheels.
7. Using your chosen method of welding, weld the plate to the Corsa beam. This doesn't have to be super strong, as it will be secured to the beam using bolts too. I will use a MIG welder to do this.
8. Using high quality (I.E. NOT B&Q HSS drill bits) drill bits and a powerful drill, drill the coresponding bolt holes through the rear beam where the holes are in the donor spacer plate. (Size unknown for now)
9. Now mate the hub to the rear beam to check for fit, you may find that you have an ABS donor rear brake system, this will require you to grind the center hole from the Corsa beam larger to accomodate the larger brake unit.
10. If the brake fits, I would recomend replacing the disk and pads in it, as these could be heavily worn.
11. Bolt the new hubs to the Corsa beam, reattatch the brake hoses and then re-attatch the beam to the car. You will then need to bleed your rear brakes.

Hand Brake

I believe you need to use the short cable found in a Vauxhall Nova. There are three different types of handbrake cable available for that car, so make sure you get the correct one
I haven't worked out how to fit it yet though, as I haven't started to do the conversion...

ive found some 4 stud vectras and calibras in the scrappy, all the rear disks looked the same so will any of these fit onto a corsa if i use the rear disk kit from pvd?

OR ring autovaux and there selling a bolt on kit soon
as somthing to do with the new corsa 1.8 bolt right on no worrys

i was thinking i might aswel get the front brakes too as i have standard 1.4 16v. the car i was looking at was a calibra 16v (not a red top).
can i get the front and rear brakes off this to fit to my corsa?
im going tomorrow so can someone tell me if these will be any good and wot im gonna need to get them off?

so far i assum i need the whole rear hub and just the calipers off the front.
is this correct?
