Iv seen quite a few pics of cold air feed tubes coming from the front bumper to the airbox but none of the pipes actually went into the airbox. Why is this? Wouldn’t it be more effective if the tubing actually went slightly inside the box so more cold air gets into it? cheers

you see its a trade off between cool air and low restriction to airflow.

if you have a totally sealed uni (not unlike the original setup) it keeps cool but restricts the flow.... also its very quiet.

if you have it unsealed the throttle response will be better and the induction noise will be nicer.
