was drivin down the welsh road yesterday from llandudno and the are speed camares that get both sides of the road do these type flash or how do you know if they got u or not or can you not be sure cheers

If they have a red lens, they're infra-red and don't flash.

If it's the ones by the tunnels (Gatso's) on the A55 then they do flash and are nearly always armed.

all cameras flash, if they have a square lense they take from behind, if they have round they take from the front.
think your refering to the 'mobile type' that work by you breaking an infra red beam, these also still flash.

you cant see the flash on the forward facing camera such as gatso's as they would be dangerous if they flashed in your face, so they use infa red flash

those front facing ones do flash i have seen so many people where i live come raggin past me and they flash a purple colour you can see it eaisly
