Hey guys,
I currently have one sub in my car running off my mono amp.
thats the Directed 1100D mono amp 600rms(4ohm) 800rms(2ohm) 1100rms(1ohm)
and the sub i bought was the Pioneer TS-121SPl (750rms at 2ohm) which i personally think is a pile of poo and isn't really my cup of tea.
this is what its like at the moment:
Now i need some advice, as i want to change my set up to something louder keeping my mono amp but changing my subs.
Now, what would people do here to make the most of my 1ohm load, should i go for 1 powerful sub like an RE and keep my boot build or should i go for two Subs like two 12" JL's or even three subs like three 10" JL's and what ohmages and voice coils would you buy them in?
Basically i need to know what would work best as i love the sound of 12" and 10" and i can easily modify my boot to take two subs or even three but i dont want to make a bad choice on subs again.
Hope i havent missed too much info out
Cheers

personally i would go with an RE SX Line sub, as they are amazing, plus it will fit nicely in your already current boot build, whihc looks pretty neat and tidy
However, only problem your gonna have is that your current sub box will need to be changed to the correct sizes for the RE sub (or other) otherwise it will sound pants

ok that sounds quite interesting and is quite a practical route to go down due to my current build.
Has anyone else got any other views to what i should do?
Cheers
