Ok yeah I admit I was booting it a bit, but felt like a bag of marbles when trying to select 3rd...
maybe i just missed the clutch point, or just lifted it to early... duno
but when going 'sunday-style' its ok, only marbles when its booted...

i know the clutch needs adjusting on mine, too much slack in the cable...

How'd you do that. I only used the clutch to chage gear slowly, for pulling away and whn your in traffic. When I was cruising I just slipped it in and out of gear. Hasn't done any damage

i used to drive my old corsa fairly hard...  hence the box's & engine rebuilds
sometimes do that myself, just get the rev's right & goes sweet as, but just seems funny in 3rd only when booting
